Wandsworth Council Fined for Disabled Woman's Housing Delay

Wandsworth Council has been ordered to pay a disabled resident, referred to as Miss X, £6,300 and a monthly allowance after failing to move her from unsuitable accommodation for over two and a half years. The Local Government and Social Care Ombudsman found the council at fault for significant delays.
