Alexandra Palace to mark 90 years of BBC television with 2026 events

Alexandra Palace will host events in 2026 to celebrate 90 years since the BBC launched the world’s first regular high-definition television service from the site. Tours, talks and a commemorative plaque are planned to highlight the venue’s role in broadcasting history.
