Hillingdon Council pays £500 after two‑year foster‑carer delay

The Local Government and Social Care Ombudsman found Hillingdon Council delayed a foster‑carer application for 24 months and rejected it on grounds it already knew. The council accepted the ruling, apologised and offered a £500 payment.
