Musa Ahmed, aged seven, died on Tuesday evening, his father Shahin Ahmed told the BBC. The boy had been rescued from the sea in West Mersea on 22 July. He had been airlifted to a London hospital for treatment. His father described Musa as a "unique and happy personality, a sphere of joy".
