Mayor launches £1.8bn plan for London's rivers

A decade-long initiative to improve London's waterways has been announced by the Mayor of London. The plan includes £1.8bn from water companies, boroughs and charities, plus £2.7m from the mayor. Ten areas, including parts of Harrow, are set for funding to combat sewage pollution and restore wildlife.
