Hundreds of homes plan sparks fears of 100 daily toxic‑waste lorries on Harrow Road

St William submitted a planning application for 789 homes on the former Kensal Gasworks on 25 July 2025. Campaigners claim the 10‑12‑year build will generate up to 100 lorries a day carrying toxic waste along Harrow Road, raising health concerns among Brent residents, while Kensington and Chelsea Council says the process was robust.
