Kingston Market Closes for Nine Days After Fire

Kingston's Ancient Market will be closed for nine days from 10 to 18 October due to safety concerns identified after a fire. The blaze damaged several stalls, including those of Lush and Greggs, and investigators believe an electrical fault in a fridge caused the fire. Traders will not pay pitch fees during the closure.
