BBC cancels three shows and cuts 150 TV hours in £500m savings plan

The BBC will axe three long-running entertainment programmes as part of a £500 million cost-cutting drive over three years. Regular Mastermind remains, while Naga Munchetty leaves BBC Breakfast after 17 years to join 5 Live in January 2027.
