Ackermans Chocolates, founded by Werner and Lotte Ackerman on Goldhurst Terrace, operated for 50 years before closing about twenty years ago. It held a Royal Warrant from 1968 and in the 1990s produced 4,000 kg of chocolate weekly at a Camden estate.
