Parkrun in Harrow: four events, and one that is not here at all
Two 5k runs on Saturdays, two junior 2k runs on Sundays — and Harrow Lodge parkrun is twenty-five miles away in Hornchurch.

Four parkrun events lie inside the London Borough of Harrow — two adult 5k runs on Saturday mornings and two junior 2k runs on Sundays.
The Saturday runs
Food banks in Harrow: where they are, and how to get a voucher
Four Trussell distribution centres need a referral. Several community hubs do not.
Harrow parkrun is at Harrow Recreation Ground, Pinner Road HA1 4HZ. The course is three anticlockwise laps of the park perimeter with a small inner loop on the first lap, two gradual ascents per lap, mostly tarmac with a short grass finish. It starts alongside the Harrow St Marys pavilion. Buses 183 and H18 run along Pinner Road.
Canons Park parkrun is at Canons Park, Donnefield Avenue HA8 6RH — three anticlockwise laps described by the event as fairly flat and fast, on tarmac with a gravel woodland section.
The Sunday junior runs
Harrow library opening hours: every branch
Six council libraries, one open seven days, and a community-run seventh that most listings miss.
Kenton Rec junior parkrun is a 2k run for four to fourteen-year-olds at Kenton Recreation Ground, Carlton Avenue HA3 8AX. Pinner Village Gardens junior parkrun is the same distance and age range, at Whittington Way HA5 5JS.
The one that catches people out
Harrow Lodge parkrun sounds like it belongs here and does not. It is in Harrow Lodge Park in Hornchurch, in the London Borough of Havering, about twenty-five miles east. The names are a coincidence.
Several other events are sometimes listed as Harrow’s and do not exist anywhere in the parkrun system — there is no Roxbourne, Bentley Priory, Northwick Park, Headstone Manor or Stanmore parkrun. Genuinely nearby, but outside the borough, are Northala Fields in Ealing, Gladstone in Brent, Sunny Hill in Barnet, and Aldenham, South Oxhey and Cassiobury over the Hertfordshire border.
Turning up
Registration is a one-off, free, and lasts for life. You print your barcode or keep it on your phone; it works at any parkrun anywhere. Without it you can still run, but you will not be in the results.
Check the event page before you set out. Individual events cancel for weather, ground conditions or park events, and the notice goes on the event’s own page rather than anywhere central.
