Four Trussell distribution centres need a referral. Several community hubs do not.
There are two systems in Harrow and they work differently. The Trussell-network food bank needs a voucher; a separate group of community hubs does not ask for one.

Holy Trinity Wealdstone Church, 1a Headstone Drive HA3 5QX, opens Tuesday and Friday from 1pm to 3pm. Kenton Methodist Church, Woodgrange Avenue HA3 0XF, opens Wednesday 1pm to 3pm. Rayners Lane Baptist Church, 139 Imperial Drive HA2 7HW, opens Saturday 10am to 12pm. South Harrow Baptist Church, 270 Northolt Road HA2 8EB, opens Monday 1pm to 3pm.

The borough’s biggest sports venue came out of a £1.4m refurbishment this summer, on a new ten-year contract.
Citizens Advice Harrow, at 4 Gayton Road HA1 2FB, on 0808 250 5705. The national Help Through Hardship line on 0808 208 2138, weekdays 9am to 5pm. Also Brent Hubs, Christians Against Poverty, the Conservation Café, Harrow Association of Disabled, the CNWL community mental health team, and the Romanian and Eastern European Hub.
Where you do not need a referral
Soul Kitchen serves at Harrow Central Mosque, 34 Station Road HA1 2SQ on Saturdays 12pm to 1pm, at Kenmore Park Children’s Centre HA3 9HZ on Saturdays 11am to 1pm, and at The Salaam Centre, 39 Gloucester Road HA1 4PR on Sundays 12pm to 2pm.
Hotspot Community Hub is at The Beacon Centre, Scotts Crescent, Rayners Lane HA2 0TY on Tuesdays 12pm to 2pm. The Harrow & Pinner Lions food hub is at South Harrow Methodist Church, Walton Avenue HA2 8QU on Mondays from 7pm, with the waiting room open from 6.30pm — no referral, bring your own bags. RCCT runs at Kenmore Park Hall, 25 Warneford Road HA3 9HY on Tuesdays 2pm to 4pm.
The fund that replaced the Household Support Fund
The Household Support Fund ended on 31 March 2026. From 1 April the council runs a Crisis and Resilience Fund in its place, with three strands: help with rent, help with other housing costs, and a crisis payment.
For a crisis payment you must live in Harrow, be liable for energy or fuel costs, and evidence a need for help with day-to-day living through three months of bank statements. You cannot have had an award in the previous six months. Applications are processed by Citizens Advice Harrow on the council’s behalf. Free school meals continue through the school holidays under the same fund, with vouchers issued by schools and no application needed.
